Boomtown - ps2

Last evening it took a long while to download these two patches to my Dell Inspiron B120 laptop, despite having broadband on this end.
Then, upon trying to open the patches into my game from my desktop, an information box came up, on both patches, that said it would not unpack, and might be corrupted.
The Windows XP Home Edition, Dell, or my Adwil Avast anti-virus and firewall protection might be factor. But before disarming these, I request some feedback from you guys.

I don't know what game you are referring to, but try a different program for unpacking the files. If the files are self unpacking files, you might wan't to unpack them manually with WinZip, WinRar or similar programs.

I'd say that's a fault with the game and not the patch download.
