Dead or Alive 5 in development?

Is Tecmo developing a sequel to its bouncy-breasted beat'em up franchise?

Online reports today suggest that Tecmo may be developing a new game in the Dead or Alive beat'em up franchise.

Go Fanboy reports retail sources have confirmed that the game is in development for multiple platforms - which we would assume to be PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

There's no meat on these bones yet so this is firmly in the rumour basket (hey it's Friday, we can mix metaphors).
