Euro PS3 video service details

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced some of the blockbuster movies that will be available on the new European PlayStation Network Video Delivery Service before Christmas.

The list Sony has sent us is:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Hannah Montana: The Movie
Bruno
Angels & Demons
Casino Royale
Crank 2: High Voltage
The Hills Have Eyes

The service launches this year in the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Other nations will follow in 2010.

The service will allow movie fans to download the latest releases straight to their PlayStation®3 (PS3™) and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) for viewing at home or on the go from this November in France, Germany, Spain and the UK with other markets to follow in 2010.

Studios represented include 20th Century Fox, Disney-ABC-ESPN Television (UK & Germany and rental only, Lionsgate (UK only), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Starz Media (UK only), Universal, and Warner Bros.
