Track editor for Gran Turismo 5?

Rumours suggest we may get to design our own circuits in GT5.

According to E4G Gran Turismo 5 will feature a track editor where players can create their own tracks and alter those already present in the game.

"Yes it will have a track editor. You will be able to rebuild a track from scratch or edit the tracks that are already put in Gran Turismo 5," Polyphony Digital is quoted as saying.

Given the way talking to Japanese developers works we'll not count this one confirmed just yet, Polyphony could be talking music tracks, race replays or pretty much anything.
